Edward Denmark has fought for his life on many occasions and has won every time.
Now, even a terminal cancer diagnosis won’t defeat him.
An impoverished childhood, along with brutal tours in the Falklands and Northern Ireland,
left Edward scarred and broken. Then, at last, life gave him a break. He met his loving
wife, had two children to be proud of, and found suburban peace in the Wirral, near Liverpool.
Then, just as he was looking forward to the arrival of his first grandchild, life tried to
land a knock-out blow. With great determination and the help of his family, Edward got up
from it.

account of a Multiple Myeloma diagnosis lays bare the highs and lows of treatment and survival.
